Glasgow

City Centre

Glasgow is one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe. East End

Glasgow will also be hosting the Commonwealth games in 2014 in the east end of the city. Edinburgh

Edinburgh (pronounced Edin-burra, Scotland’s capital) is a vibrant busy city with spectacular attractions and makes it the ideal place to live. The buildings are well renowned, from the historic houses of the Royal Mile to the elegant Georgian terraces and crescents of the New Town. The famous Royal Mile descends to the palace of Holyroodhouse and north of this lies the lovely Princes Street Gardens, with Waverley Station, the city's main railroad station at the eastern end. The Old Town

Crowded with multi-storeyed tenements dating from the 15th century and has ancient winding streets dotted with closes and wynds on either side. The famous Grassmarket with its many bars, restaurants and boutique shops make it a very popular area for students as Edinburgh’s University is close by. The Royal Mile, one of the most famous streets in Edinburgh, runs from the castle to Holyroodhouse and is a must see for visitors and residents.
